Client responsibilities

- Do not request unlawful, deceptive or infringing work.
- Respond to reasonable freelancer questions and document important scope changes.
- Use payment and contract features in accordance with applicable platform rules.
- Do not misuse freelancer personal information or work samples.
Project outcomes
Freelancers are independent marketplace participants. Clients should review freelancer profiles, proposals and relevant activity before deciding to hire.
Disagreements
Clients should first attempt to resolve issues through the project record and written communication, then use the available support process if needed.
