Trust & Safety

A marketplace works better when expectations are clear.

Safety principles for clients and freelancers

Protect your account and your work

SkilDesk is designed to support professional collaboration, but every marketplace user should still use good judgement before starting a project or sharing sensitive information.

Keep your account secure

  • Use a unique password and do not share login credentials.
  • Be cautious with unexpected links, files or requests for account access.
  • Keep your email address and profile information current.

Before work starts

  • Confirm the project scope, deliverables, timeline and price.
  • Review the other party's profile and available platform activity.
  • Avoid unclear payment or identity requests that do not match the agreed project.

During the project

  • Keep important decisions and scope changes documented.
  • Do not share passwords, private keys or sensitive customer data unless absolutely required and appropriately protected.
  • Report abusive, fraudulent or misleading behaviour when support channels are available.
SkilDesk does not guarantee that every user, job or project will be risk-free. Users remain responsible for reviewing opportunities and counterparties before proceeding.
